Tuition/Registration information

Tuition
 The Acorn Group which is comprised of 3-4 year olds and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to noon. Tuition for the year 2011-2012 school year is $1186 for the year. Upon Registration a $150 initial non-refundable payment will be due. Upon which a balance of $1036 can be paid in full or for a small handling fee can be broken down into 7 monthly payments by check of $150, or credit card of $152.

The Mighty Oak group is comprised of 4-5 year olds and meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to noon. Tuition for the year 2011-2012 school year is $1456. Upon Registration a $184 initial non-refundable payment will be due. Upon which a balance of $1272 can be paid in full or for a small handling fee can be broken down into 7 monthly payments by check of  $184, or Credit Card of $187.

Registration requirements
  1. Children must be three years old by September 30th.
  2. Your child's registration form must be completed, the registration paid and a signed fee agreement prior to the first day of school.
  3. To meet state licensing requirements, your child must be toilet trained by the first day of school.
  4. Prior to the first day of school, your child's medical records and emergency information must be on file.

How to Prepare for entry into Preschool and what to expect from your child during those growing years.

What to expect from 3-5 yr olds

Preschoolers Show:                                  
Parents can help by:                                                     

Learn through hands-on experience Provide learning materials such as blocks, puzzles, crayons, puppets, games, play dough, cooking. Give tasks to do around the house.
Lively imaginations Encourage dramatic play with dolls, stuffed animals, dress-up clothes, toy tools and props used in various occupations.
Learn to share, take turns, wait Offer opportunities to play with other children
Assert independence, full of ideas Offer opportunities to make decisions about what to wear and do and where to go. Praise efforts.
Rapid vocabulary increase Talk, read books, play with words, tell stores, visit the library.
Ask many questions, argue and reason Listen and answer questions
Interested in learning about the outside world Take on outings, broaden experiences.
Active until exhausted Alternate active periods with quiet activities and rest.
Able to express feelings in words Teach appropriate phrases such as, "Can I use it when you're finished?" or "I'm really hungry!"
Challenge rules Be firm when something is important; be flexible with less important issues.
